Instead, it's one of a new breed of hybrid digital instant cameras that offer the functionality of an instant camera, a digital camera, and a portable printer in the same device. The Instax Mini LiPlay is not marketed specifically as a portable printer, so this one may be easy to miss. "It's portable, it's easy-to-use, it's nice to look at… it's just a fantastic and functional photography accessory all 'round." Budget option "TBH, it's one of the best instant printers out there," reads the headline on iMore's review. Use the Polaroid Mint app to make stylish adjustments to your photos, and you’ll find the printer is not only helpful but fun to use as well, as a Polaroid should be. As long as this isn’t an issue, you’ll find this a wonderfully handy portable printer. However, it’s worth noting that the battery runs down quickly on standby (within a couple of weeks), so if you’re using the printer infrequently you’ll likely have to get in the habit of remembering to charge it before you use it. The Mint Pocket Printer has a generous battery life. It’s easy to load and use and can be paired quickly and easily with a smartphone thanks to its Bluetooth connectivity. Available in a range of stylish colors and portable enough to take everywhere, it uses Zink paper to produce color-rich and detailed prints. You’d expect a mini-printer from Polaroid to do business well, and the Mint Pocket Printer doesn’t disappoint. "For small-format photo prints, the Polaroid does a good job of creating high-quality output in a simple and fairly speedy fashion," said Matthew Richards in our review. Competing with other mobile photo printers like the Canon Selphy Square QX10, the Polaroid Hi–Print 2x3 Pocket Photo Printer uses tried and trusted dye-sublimation or ‘dye-sub’ technology that predates inkjet printing. When paired to your smartphone via Bluetooth, it has a companion app that enables you to create 2x3-inch photo prints of your smartphone snaps, and outputs them with speed and style, delivering impressive image quality from its dye-sublimation technology.Īll in all, this portable printer is quick, convenient, and compact. Print 2x3 is only about an inch thick and weighs a mere 255g, complete with a built-in rechargeable battery.I’d really appreciate some help on this from y’all since I know I can’t be the only one experiencing this problem. The Polaroid Hi I’m really confused because I’ve never had this issue before and Polaroid’s FAQ and troubleshooting pages are no help. However, when I went to print the next one the same problem happened again. I even replaced the full film pack with a brand new one and (finally) got it to print one photo. It’s so frustrating because I know there’s film in there. I get the correct exposure and settings right, line it up on the scanner, get the rainbow logo blinks and ping that it’s ready to print, but when I hit that red button… nothing happens. As I’ve used the printer before, I know I’m doing all of the proper steps before trying to press the red button. Fast forward to last night, I tried to bust the printer out and it wouldn’t print. I used it for a while before packing it up to move. Hi all! I have a little problem with the Polaroid Lab I bought about a year ago.
